Documentation

These steps cover a ZIP install from this shop and a high-level Paddle connection for Checkout for Paddle. Exact setting labels can change with plugin updates — use the fields shown in your WordPress admin.

Install and activate

  1. Upload the plugin ZIP. Download the ZIP from your order email or the customer portal. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, install, and activate.
  2. Activate the license. Enter the license key from your order email and confirm activation to enable Pro updates and licensed features.
  3. Connect Paddle (Checkout for Paddle). In WooCommerce payment settings, add your Paddle seller ID, client token, and API key. Point Paddle’s webhook to the URL shown in the plugin settings and paste the webhook secret. Use sandbox keys until a test payment succeeds.

Checkout for Paddle notes

  • You need a Paddle seller account. Use sandbox credentials until a test payment completes.
  • Copy the webhook URL from the plugin settings into the Paddle dashboard, then paste Paddle’s webhook secret back into WordPress. Do not guess a REST path from another plugin build.
  • Lite maps each WooCommerce product to a Paddle Price ID. Pro can also create or sync Paddle products from your catalog.
  • Paddle.js loads from Paddle’s CDN at checkout. Paddle’s terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.
